A place for both young and old to enjoy – that is the beach hotel Strandhotel Fischland: Situated within a stretch of wild romantic coastal woodland, right at one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in all of Europe, this wellness hotel offers a multitude of maritime spa treatments, among them thalassotherapy, an exterior sauna with direct access to the Baltic Sea, and lots of beach and water sports for children and adults. To help mom and dad relax and enjoy the spa, the hotel has established its own children's club, run by dedicated professional child carers.

The main attraction to tourists is the landscape itself, which surrounds the hotel: The approximately 800 square kilometres of the "Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park", which includes stretches of the Baltic Sea and the shallow coastal bays of the so-called "bodden" as well as the neighbouring heathland. More than 45 kilometres of hiking and cycle paths become ideal cross-country skiing tracks. Other attractions include: The amber museum in Ribnitz, the mushroom and nature experience museum in Hirschburg, day trips to the Darß or to the island of Rügen, the maritime museum Stralsund and the historic town centres of Rostock and Warnemünde.

Apart from being in the direct vicinity of one of the most fascinating national parks in Europe, the Hotel Fischland charms visitors with exquisite, sea-inspired spa treatments like thalassotherapy. Wellness for two is also possible in the Private Spa Suite, which also has its own steam bath. Another highlight is the exterior sauna, allowing you to follow the intense heat with a refreshing dive right into the cool Baltic Sea.
