Wellness and spa in the smallest traditional bath of Baden-Württemberg…
King William I of Württemberg knew what he was about when he pronounced the little Black Forest town of Bad Teinach a royal spa in the year 1842. At about 500m altitude, protected from the winds by the Teinach valley and surrounded by forests, the smallest traditional bath in Baden-Württemberg offers everything needed then and now to enjoy a stay at the spa: fresh Black Forest air, therapeutic mineral baths, comprehensive medical consultations and diverse cultural events.


The Bad-Hotel is situated immediately adjoining the small town's idyllic spa gardens. The thermal mineral baths belonging to the house offer a view of the spacious park grounds from both the indoor and outdoor pools. The Bad-Hotel's "Wellness Temple" takes its visitors on a tour of treatments from Europe, Asia, America and the Indian Pacific. A practice for physiotherapy is attached to the house and can provide the entire spectrum of preventive or acute therapeutic measures: massages and baths, manual therapy, osteopathy and manual lymphatic drainage. The Bad-Hotel also offers beauty treatments: Qualified beauticians help guests relax body and mind, and on request also offer advice on nutrition. This is followed by the kitchen, and improves the health of skin and hair. And listening to the spa orchestra play in the evening, wellness and therapeutic measures blend into a delightful whole at this traditional spa.


Environment

The Bad-Hotel is located in the German Federal Land Baden-Württemberg, in the valley of the river Teinach, in the middle of the Black Forest Nature Park. The house is adjacent to the city’s spa gardens with its numerous hiking trails.


Incentives

Bad Teinach is world famous for its unique Cabbalistic triptych painting in the local church, donated by Princess Antonia of Wurttemberg in 1663. One of the biggest water bottling plants in Europe, silver mine in Neubulach, native city of famous German writer Hermann Hesse “Calw”, “golden city“ Pforzheim with its jewellery and watch-making industry.
